A beautiful, inspiring home in a wonderful little neighbourhood on the edge of central Milan.
Decorated with a warm, Asian-inspired personal style by a generous and thoughtful host, this one-bedroom house makes a stimulating base to explore the creative city of Milan. The only downside is that it is so cosy you may never want to leave it!
Isola is a buzzing neighbourhood with an unpretentious feeling – plenty of ordinary folk plus a sprinkling of cool bars and restaurants catering to the local student/bohemian crowd with prices to match. It’s roughly a ten minute walk to fashionable Brera, the metro is a five minutes stroll away and there’s a taxi stand just near-by. The fashionable slow food restaurant, Ratana, is not far.
What We Love
The creative vibe of the house, the host’s great music selection, the attention to detail and the warm and thoughtful organization. The host has a background in hospitality and this shows in a certain generosity of spirit towards guests and the provision lots of great eating and drinking tips.
If you want help with bike hire, transport cards or an Italian mobile phone number ask the host at the time of booking. Vegetarians: ask Roberta to directions to an excellent vegetarian restaurant just near-by.
Minimum stay is two nights.
